I am amazed

Well I am still amazed and I know I shouldn't be because God always comes through, but once again I am. Last Thursday Eric, James, and I went to the Island to help out a special needs school, we were just there to help with small jobs around the school for example we pulled weeds, took care of some of the toys that needed repair, hung a mirror and a few other things. We had a lot of fun, especially when I got to use a machete to cut grass lol, anyways while we were on the island we stopped by a home, which belonged to some American's. They were extremly hospitable and seemed to want to take care of any need we might have. I told them of my desire to start a school and the lady of the house just happens to know someone on the island who has a school and might need some help for a while. I was able to get in contact with her, her name is Maggie, She does need help and on Wedensday I will be going to sit in on some of her classes and then speak with her after. I hope to be able to volenteer a couple of times and see how it is done. There is also another lady named Bunney whom I am meeting with on Thursday, she is planning on starting a school out toward the jungles for English. I hope to be able to help her as well. So I am amazed to see so much of God woking in my life it is just so evident here. If I did not meet just the right people then I would not be able to do the things i have been doing, and the way I meet people just seems so randome but I know its not randome, its all by the hand of God.

I have also continued going out to the parks to minister to the people there. The children I meet in the park are just so sweet and just want to learn and have friends. I was able to meet a family last weekend who have the desire to learn English and acctually have a book which I believe was another God thing. I believe it was a God thing because they opened my eyes to some awesome books for teaching English and then I was able to go out and by a few of them. I also was able to just love on these two little girls, I sang with them and played with them. We had fun learning each others languages and just sitting together. I love how easy it is to make friends and just fit right in with the people here. I also thank you all very much for your prayers and support I could not be doing these things with out you all. I love you all very much, thank you to all my brothers and sisters in Christ.

God has already started to use me and I have only been here four days. I did not think things would get going until monday just because that is when we are supposed to go and pass out boxes with venancio (he is the local pastor we work with or more like evangelist). Venancio also works with pastors in teaching them, he does vbs's and goes out almost every night of the week to do a bible study with a church sometimes close by sometimes hours away. He has a great attitude about it always and is always excited about serving God. Anyways back to how God is already using me, I went to the park just down the street tonight to see if I could meet some people and make some friends. I feel that is a great way to minister because while going to churches is great the people in the church already have knowledge of God and the people in the park most likely do not know about God. So I met a family and started talking with them for probably about an hour. This family was telling me how important it was for Mexicans in Cancun to learn English. They said it costs about 300 dollars in american money for one month of classes, they only get to go for about an hour once a week maybe twice. Now that seems like a lot of money for so few classes. So I am thinking and praying about starting a school where I live teaching English as a second language using bible verses. I would really love if you all would pray with me and if you had any ideas on what projects I could do to keep it interesting that would be great.

So I have recently moved to Mexico to become a missionary or more so to learn how to be a missionary. I truly believe that this is where God wants me to be. There have been so many signs I guess you could say or comformations from God. Everytime I have had a question about whether or not this is where God wants me, He always answers me with a YES! All the money is coming in and none of it is from me, wow the things God can do when you just let Him. So this is where I will be posting my experiances and different things I learn along the way. I am not sure all of what I will get to do yet but I can't wait to find out! This is my hearts desire to be here, to be used by God. I cant be content with just knowing I am a christian and get to go to heaven, while those are great things, I have been commissioned to do more God has put the desire in my heart to do more. I am no longer a baby christian, I am learning and growing in my faith and I must share with others and make a differance no matter how small or large it may be.
